Features of AlNiCo Arc Magnet Compared to Samarium Cobalt magnets, AlNiCo magnets have higher operating temperature, lower coercivity and lower BH (max) and are less expensive.
Alnico materials are very hard and brittle and cannot be made by cold working. Don’t worry, casting or sintering technology can solve this problem perfectly.
Permanent magnet AlNiCo magnets have a high Curie temperature and an extremely low reversible temperature coefficient of -0.02%/°C, allowing excellent stability over a wide temperature range.
Alnico also has a high degree of corrosion resistance. No coating was required on all of our last orders from customers. Only some Alnico magnets used as teaching tools need to be painted red or blue to identify the South or North Pole.
